How to use Discover

Open /discover, or the compass icon in the navigation. It shows recent posts from across this server, and the accounts and hashtags that are getting attention.

Discover categories

Some servers group discovery into categories. Where they are enabled, the discover page shows a card for each one that links to its own feed. This is optional, so not every server has them.

Tips

• To make your own posts more discoverable, add hashtags to them.
• Any public post carrying a hashtag may appear on a discover page or in search results.
• An unlisted or followers-only post never appears in discovery. That is what those levels are for.
