Instance user limit

Many servers cap how many people can join, to keep the community a size its moderators can actually look after. It is not a judgement about you.

Registration on nicagram is closed right now. That is either a member limit the operators set, or a deliberate pause.

What to do

• Try again later. Limits are raised, and places open up.
• Apply to join, if this server reviews applications rather than taking anyone.
• Ask the operators — they can tell you whether it is worth waiting.
• Join a different server — you can follow accounts here from anywhere in the fediverse, so joining elsewhere does not cut you off from the people you came for.

That last point is the one worth understanding: which server you join changes who moderates you and who you share a local timeline with. It does not change who you can follow. See what is the fediverse.
